About

Hello! I am a stay-at-home mother with a very supportive husband, 3 daughters (M is 6 years, C is 4 years, and L is 1.5 years), and a dog. We are continuing our natural learning journey into homeschooling. My education philosophy aligns most with unschooling, with an eclectic feel including some unit study, Charlotte Mason, and classical. We are officially homeschooling, beginning in Fall 2012 for M’s kindergarten year. This blog is mostly for me to see all what we are learning without curriculum. Currently the girls are interested in everything I throw at them, and this blog is helping me to organize my ideas to make sure I am strewing activities/ideas from all spectrums.

As for the blog address, “LipperLoppy” is a word that my daughters invented. It is usually used as a silly adjective. I thought it worked well as a blog address, as it is unique to our family and seems to demonstrate our crazy life!

Welcome, and enjoy!

  • LipperLoppy? what???

“LipperLoppy” is a word that my daughters invented. It is usually used as a silly adjective or noun. It's a frequent family joke and a good representation of our family's crazy joyful life.
